OOTD | Back t Black With NewChic

Hello Fellas! How you doin? Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend! I myself had a blast although I wasn’t on the best of moods… For starters I ended up the week with a new job! I couldn’t be more excited as I am already ticking my wishlist for 2018! I’m not gonna give away too much about that because I want to properly explain to you guys my career… So I’ll leave the details to another time! Saturday started with an early morning heading to Guimarães for a ceremony at the University. It is the Engineer School Week and they celebrated with a Graduation ceremony for their students.

Of course I’m included because although I took fashion I belonged to that school and was invited to get my year book. It was really good to see some people, and the best part was I got the opportunity to gather some of my work. That ended with a lunch with two of my best friends at a local place Dan’s. I talked about this restaurant here already!

The day continued with some minutes of sleep because I was exhausted from the week and dinner with my sister and another friend. We have this tradition of going to a Chinese Restaurant from time to time. The night ended at the Casino! It was my first time there and no, I am not rich, I did not win a god damn thing! What a shame! Well, there’s a saying that explains you either get lucky on love or gamble, and I admit, I’m quite good with my love life so I’m happy! The next day was obviously spent sleeping, tidying and working for you guys! Editing and posting!

But enough with the chit chat, I’m here to talk to you about what I chose to wear to the ceremony so click that Read More button and check some photos!!!

Remember NewChic? I posted a wishlist here last month and they were so kind to send me out a couple o items for me to wear! They also sent me some gadgets for my sewing machine whose I’m really happy with although haven’t tried them yet! So I figured I’d put a proper outfit together to go through my weekend! But before leaving you guys with my outfit photos I just wanna do a quick review on what I got!

Tiny Review

Firstly, I wanna talk about the dress, the main piece for this outfit, I absolutely Love It! It is an A-line dress, which is a shape that really suits me and that I’m quite enjoying lately. I feel like winter is more for loose clothing, in a way, it feels more comfortable. It is short, not too short, but enough to wear with those high knee boots that are also a big trend! For this outfit I chose a pair of above the ankle boots I bought on a local market. One of my favorite aspects about this dress is the sleeves! I love trumpet sleeves, specially when they are layered! I usually call them spanish trumpet sleeves because it reminds me a bit of flamenco, meaning, these sleeves are a synonym for fun! Literally wanna dance when I put something like this on!

Next piece, the statement one, the jacket! A faux fur black jacket! With bear hears on the hoodie! I mean, what more can I ask for? I also Loved this item! I’m really happy with the shape, the fitting and the quality! It is so warm I literally wanna live inside it! I must say I am quite impressed with the quality of both items. There are no loose strings, no bad stitches, they’re not sheer, not too cold, not too hot. The fur from the jacket is super soft! The material from the dress is shinny and soft. I am pleased with my gift and I wanna say thank you once again to NewChic for the opportunity!

I’ll now leave you with some more photos!

That is it for today guys! Hope you enjoyed it! In the meantime, don’t forget to Stay Fashionable!
xoxo, Passion Fruit
