Hello Fellas! I’m back again with a fashion post! This time I’m gonna share with you what I saw and my opinion on a fashion show I went last week in Guimarães! For those who don’t know me that’s the city I took my Fashion Degree! Therefore I always like to attend to fashion events there, I’m always well welcome and needless to say I feel at home instantly! Unfortunately I only could be there one of the days, the runway was open Friday and Saturday night, and you can check everything on their Facebook page! Again, I attended only one day, Saturday, where I could see collections from Lurdes Rodrigues, Pé de Chumbo, Cotton Brothers and Marilne Noivas. I will now leave you with some photos I took, not from the entire collections but my fav pieces! I’ll also leave you the links to their pages so you can check the entire thing! You know the deal! I’m going to start from the very beggining with the collection from Lurdes Rodrigues. This collection is mainly festive, and I really liked it! Honestly, I wish I had some big wedding to go soon because the dresses are simply amazing! One of the things I liked the most was the secession of color, it started very fiery with some bright red gowns and escalated to some more neutral tones ending up in white! My favorite was the second one on the photos below, sheer, lacy and fit! Overall, great collection! Special attention to the details on every dress, from what I call feathers, to lace apliques, never forgetting the classic beading! You can see more on her Facebook page!
Next on we had Pé de Chumbo! Also a good collection, although it’s not my personal style! Still, I’d totally wear some of their pieces! There’s this sweater I really liked, oversized, perfect for winter! Also, one of the things I loved the most about this was the textures of the clothing! There’s a couple of dresses that look like spider webs, I can’t quite describe it, but it’s absolutely amazing! I’ll leave you with the photos and a video so you can see for yourself! Also, you can see the entire collection and more on their Website or Facebook page!
The third runway was from the Cotton Brothers! More like my personal style, so I liked it very much, again! Very wintery, very street style! The kind of clothes you wanna have in your wardrobe this season! I’d say most of the collection is sort of like seasonal must haves! Again, very close attention to details. What I loved the most was the fact you had pieces put together for every tastes! You could either go sweater weather oversized look! Or street chique fit defined waist! And the best part is that the oversized could go formal just by tucking in the sweater on the skirt. And the fit shape could get loose just by detaching a belt! My favorite piece from this one was the last sweater presented, also the last on photos. Loved the texture and color combos! You can see their entire collection and more on the Website or Facebook page!
Last but definitely not least, my favorite, Marilene Noivas! I never had the dream of marriage but for some reason I love wedding gowns! The fabrics, the details, the apliques, everything is absolutely amazing! It’s feels like wonderland! And this show was no exception! I must admit I’d love to have seen more fitted looks, but still fell in love with a couple of them! One of the things I love the most about this collection is the touch of color on both woman and man clothing. Also loved the lace apliques and the drop backs! I’ll leave you with some photos of my favorites being the first one below the absolute love of the night! Also, you can check the entire collection and more on her Website or Facebook page!
Well, that’s it for today! Hope you enjoyed it! I’ll try and be back soon!
Meanwhile, Stay Fashionable!
